We are currently seeking a Senior Flutter Engineer (Remote) to join our mobile team!
You will be an integral part of an exciting new project that will help redefine how our technology is influencing healthcare. You will be helping build the platform, paving the path for future developments and contributing to the overall success of Swift.
Who you are:
You are a seasoned native mobile developer and are looking for an opportunity to be a part of a brand new team. You are excited by the prospect of leading development using cross platform technologies.
In addition to being an excellent communicator, you enjoy working with SMEs and leading complex, technical decisions. You can comfortably operate at any and all levels of the stack (i.e. all the way from cloud infrastructure to client-side code).You can understand the bigger picture, now and into the future.

What you will do in a little more detail:

    • Lead the architecture and development using Flutter and Dart;
    • Design components, maintain them and implement them by following Flutter / Dart workflows and practices;
    • Participate in native plugin development when needed leveraging Swift, Kotlin, Javascript, C++ or C#;
    • Increase our system scalability and quality;
    • Mentor team members to continuously raise the bar;
    • Maintain system currency by evangelizing new technologies, architectures, patterns, processes, tools and best practices

What you bring to the table:

      • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise native mobile applications;
      • Experience with Android development is a huge asset;
      • Expertise in Flutter;
      • Expertise with Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin, C++, C# or Javascript;
      • Expertise with unit testing and designing testable code;
      • Expertise with CICD pipelines;
      • Expertise with various front end design patterns such as MVC, MVVM or BlockExpertise with various native camera frameworks such as AVFoundation, Camera2, CameraX

      • Interview 1: 45-minute video interview with our Talent Partner
      • Interview 2: 60-minute introductory, behavioural video interview with Phil Denis (the leader for this role)
      • Interview 3: 75-minute technical, systems design video interview with Mark MacNeil (Staff Engineer at Swift)
      • Interview 4: 60-minute panel video interview with folks from QA, Product and Technology team.
