Position Summary:
The Funding Reporting Officer is a key team position within the Native Council of PEI (NCPEI) and is responsible for overseeing the development, monitoring, and reporting of NCPEI’s multiple contribution agreements based on the criteria within each agreement. The Funding Reporting Officer will work closely with funding agencies to ensure timely and accurate reporting is provided to funding agencies. The Funding Reporting Officer will also assist NCPEI in developing and submitting proposals for program development and funding.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Familiarize themselves with existing contribution agreements, reporting schedule, and deliverables required for each contribution agreement.
  • Based on employees’ monthly reports, develop the narrative portion of the reporting for each program contribution agreement outlined in their respective workplan, outcomes & deliverables.
  • In collaboration with the Finance Director, ensure financial reporting is prepared using appropriate financial reporting template(s) outlined in each program contribution agreement or provided by funding partners.
  • In collaboration with the Office Supervisor, ensure employees are adhering to their workplans, activities, and deliverables as per the program contribution agreement.
  • In collaboration with NCPEI’s external consultant, assist with the development and oversight of program evaluation forms if required.
  • In collaboration with NCPEI’s Policy Analyst Team, monitor Calls for Funding and assist with the development of proposals for funding.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in administration or related field of study.
  • Proven work experience in non-profit or related field of employment.
  • Proven work experience in developing workplans, budgets, and reports.
  • Strong written, oral, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • Police record check is required prior to commencing employment.
