Centennial Auto Group is looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our marketing team as Content Creator!

NOW HIRING: Content Creator

LOCATION: Centennial Auto Group – Summerside & Charlottetown, PEI 

HOURS: Full Time, permanent. Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. (Some flexibility may be required)

COMPENSATION: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour + benefits (negotiable based on skill level/ experience)

You are a dynamic and creative individual with a strong interest in social media marketing. The successful candidate is well-written, detail-oriented, and possesses a knack for creating engaging content. As a Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s digital presence, crafting compelling content, and fostering meaningful connections with our audience. You will also be responsible for social media community management including reporting and monitoring social accounts. Other responsibilities include administrative support to our growing marketing team and working as a face of the company during outside projects and events.

APPLICABLE SKILLS:

  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel between locations will be required)
  • Great attitude with ability to work well with minimal supervision
  • Motivated – looking for an employee who takes pride in their work
  • Experience with Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, Filmora or other design software is considered a strong asset
  • Experience with Google Workspace/Microsoft Office is considered an asset
  • Effective listening & communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong computer and number skills
  • Must be reliable and show initiative
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Be personable, honest, and hardworking
  • A proven self-starter who can work under pressure

JOB TASKS:

Content creation 

  • Assist in brainstorming sessions
  • Participate in the development of content calendars
  • Collaborate with the team to produce photos, video, infographics
  • Ensure content is properly archived and versioned for future reference

Social media administration

  • Assist in the planning and execution of social media campaigns
  • Monitor social media platforms for mentions/comments/messages
  • Respond to inquiries and comments from followers in a professional manner
  • Engage with followers by sharing relevant content

Reporting

  • Analyze social media metrics to track performance and identify trends
  • Tracking campaign performance and provide feedback for optimization

Creative design

  • Generating ideas and concepts for visual content
  • Designing graphics, illustrations, and other visual elements
  • Working closely with team members to ensure designs align with goals and guidelines

Events

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of promotional events
  • Interact with attendees as a professional, positive symbol of the organization
  • Provide logistical support for setup, teardown, and managing event materials
