Mission: Overseeing the daily operations of the Dining Room and Bar., the Food & Beverage Supervisor ensures that the highest standards are met through personal organisation, skilful supervision, constant training, coaching and professional conducts towards our guests.

Immediate Supervisor: Food and Beverage Manager

Job Summary: This is a working supervisory position, responsible for staff supervision including, training, motivating and coaching of bartenders and servers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Train all staff to provide excellent service focusing on our guests.
  •  Coach and motivatestaff to maintain those high levels of service standards
  •  Ensure all staff have the Responsible Beverage Server course.
  •  Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in maintaining a standard inventory of supplies and liquor.
  •  Work and communicate closely with all other departments to facilitate guest service and to ensure all Rodd Hotel Standards are implemented and adhered to.
  •  Assist in Conference Services as needed.
  •  Ensure all Human Resources policies are followed.
  •  Take a proactive approach to marketing and promotions of the outlets to hotel guests and the general public to improve business in our dining room, bar and banquet facilities.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor
