Solar Pedal Bus Tour Guide/Driver  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

As a driver and tour guide, your primary responsibility is to provide an informative and engaging experience for your passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort during the journey. Here are some key tasks and skills that can help you excel in this role: 

• Provide informative and engaging commentary: As you guide the passengers through the tour, provide engaging and accurate commentary on the history, culture, landmarks, and other key features of the area. Keep your commentary interesting and relevant, and be prepared to answer questions from passengers. 

• Ensure passenger safety: Your passengers’ safety is your top priority, so make sure to comply with the safety regulations, and enforce any rules that help ensure passenger safety. You should also have an emergency plan in place in case of unexpected situations. 
• Handle passenger needs and requests: Be attentive to your passengers’ needs and requests, and address them promptly and professionally. This includes providing information on restroom facilities, accommodating special needs, and handling complaints or issues as they arise. 
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor which includes being polite, courteous, and respectful to your passengers, as well as maintaining a neat and tidy appearance. 
• Manage logistics and paperwork: Keep track of important logistics such as schedules, passenger counts, expenses, and other necessary paperwork.
