Position Summary: Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting Consultant
Responsibilities
- Presales requirements gathering and client specific solution presentation
- Identifies and understands business needs and converts them into technical specs
- Develop solution design based on gathered requirements
- Project coordination
- Design, implements, and documents BI solution
- Provides end user training
- Shadow any training provided by partner to client
- Ability to self-learn new technologies
BI Consultant Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in data analytics, computer science or other related fields
Experience within a data science role, or previous experience as a BI consultant, preferably a minimum of 2 years
Good understanding and practical use of business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, Microsoft BI power, and other frameworks
Proficiency in data warehouse and ETL concepts, data mining, data processing frameworks, and report writing Able to leverage different technologies, such as SQL, OLAP, NLP, APIs, and data visualization platforms
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for big data
Problem-solving mindset and bigger-picture view of information
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Impeccable presentation abilities and business acumen
Experience working with finance, sales, distribution, logistics, and demand planning data is a big plus
Experience with ERP systems is a plus
